Happy Tuesday #56

Hi everyone,

Mommy and daddy wonder what I'll be interested in when I get bigger. Daddy thinks I'll be a girly girl, and mommy thinks I'll be a tomboy. I'm not sure why they think I have to choose. I'm gonna mix things up and play basketball in animal print high tops. I'll be fast and fashionable!

Mix it up this week!

CK

Happy Tuesday #55

Hi everyone,

Last spring I was a baby and couldn't walk like I do now. So walking barefoot in the grass was a new experience for me. Ick! I don't like it. It's gross and feels creepy on my feet. A simple pleasure? Maybe. But I think I'll stick to getting around outside the old reliable way.

Go outside this week, but keep your shoes on.

Love,
CK

Happy Tuesday #54

Hi everyone,

I'm spending a lot of time in the kitchen these days. Whether it's cupcakes or couscous, I love whipping up something special for everyone. I just wish I could reach the counter top. It just doesn't seem sanitary preparing food on the floor.

Bon appetit!

Love,
CK

Happy Tuesday #53

Hi everyone,

Last week was one I'd like to forget. The events that unfolded can be placed under one of two categories: too much water, or not enough water. First, our dishwasher broke and flooded the kitchen floor with water. Then our sump bucket overflowed and flooded the basement floor with water. And finally, and most horribly, I was sick with an ear infection and got dehydrated from not getting enough water. I had to go to the hospital, but don't feel too bad for me. The nurses said I was strong and brave. And when they gave me my fluids I only cried a little. Well, maybe more than a little, but who's taking notes.

Drink your fluids this week. And check your sump pumps!

Love,
CK

Happy Tuesday #52

Hi everyone,

Now that I'm a toddler, I've started to think about what I want to be when I grow up. At first I thought about going down an artistic path, like music or poetry. Then I thought about doing something with computers. But the start of baseball season has inspired me to consider a career as a professional athlete. I'm not sure what sport I'd like to pursue, but I've got the uniform ready. Is anyone up for a game of shirts vs.skins?

Play ball!

Love,
CK
