Happy Tuesday #32

Hi everyone,

I'm eight months now and mommy and daddy must think I'm real big cause they took me trick-or-treating at the zoo. They thought it was a madhouse, but I thought it was real neat. I saw a turkey, a prairie dog, and some sheep, and I also got to see scary stuff like ghosts in a graveyard. I couldn't be more excited about Halloween. My costume is ready and so is my jack-o-lantern. His name is Charlie and I like to pretend he's my little brother. There's clearly a family resemblance.

Happy Tuesday #31

Hi everyone,

I get around pretty good these days and my new abilities take me on many fun and dangerous adventures. Although I'm enjoying my freedom, mommy and daddy say I'm now a menace to society. I guess that's why they put me in prison (they call it a play yard, but I'm not fooled). I don't like to stay in the prison and I cry when they put me there. A few days ago I managed to make a break, but I didn't get very far. If only my getaway car driver hadn't been so easily distracted.

Don't get distracted this week.

It's always good to meet new people. Last week I met someone who could turn out to be a great friend. She's sweet and funny and we have a lot in common. People even say we look a like. And she seems to know my every move. It's unnerving.

Happy Tuesday #29

Hi everyone,

Ever since I've been alive, mommy and daddy have been real busy. I'm a good baby, but I can still be a handful. So this past week daddy took a couple of days off from work to get caught up on chores. He painted, did yard work, and spent time hiding cords from me (I'm gonna do my best to find them). While mommy and daddy were working outside, I took the opportunity to enjoy the outdoors. I didn't help out too much with the yard work, but I sure did enjoy myself.

Happy Tuesday #28

Hi everyone,

I grew up a lot last week. I'm crawling forward now--I was stuck in reverse for awhile--and I can stand on my own with a little bit of help. Things are getting busy for mommy and daddy because I am interested in exploring everything. I've even found some neat new toys. After a day of crawling and standing, I sure am tired when I finally get to bed. Being a big girl is exhausting.
