Hi everyone,

Happy St. Pat's Day! It's time for our annual St. Pat's Day photo. This year the shoot went well, except that I got a little irritated when I was asked to sit between mommy and daddy. I just didn't think it looked right. So for the second photo I demanded to have my own chair. I also thought I should have worn the hat instead of Ollie, but I didn't win that battle. Am I a diva? Maybe. But if I didn't strive for perfection in these photos, who would?

Go ahead and be a diva this St. Pat's Day.

Happy Tuesday #98

Hi everyone,

I turned three on Sunday. It was so fun opening my presents and I got lots of cool stuff. Every time I opened a gift I said "wow!" I think the neatest gift was my roller skates. I had to put them on right away and go for a test run. But the best part of the day was the cake. It had pink frosting and colorful sprinkles. When mommy and daddy lit the number 3 candle it was more exciting than the Olympic torch. And when they sang the Happy Birthday song my smile got even bigger. What a lovely day.

We had a nice Valentine's Day here at my house. Mommy and daddy got me a few neat gifts and made the day really special. I asked daddy if he would be my Valentine and he said yes. He is the best Valentine ever. He made me feel like a real princess.

I hope you are enjoying the holiday season. The little bit of snow we got really put me on the Christmas mood. My only complaint is the way the snow tasted. It was a little bland...I guess that's because it was December snow. Everyone knows that January snow tastes the best.

Hi everyone,

Now that I'm getting more settled into the new house, I'm finding some free time to enjoy the beautiful weather. Most of the fun lately has involved water. Sprinklers sure are fun. Daddy and I sat in our backyard and let the sprinkler water fly into our faces. It was great. And nothing is quite as fun as the pool. Our new subdivision has a pool and I love it. I just wish I could junp into the pool like the big kids do.

Happy St. Patrick's Tuesday

Hi everyone,

It's St. Pat's Day and that means it's time for our annual St. Pat's Day family picture. With the weather being so nice, we took the picture outside. It's hard to tell from the picture, but even Ollie had on his St. Pat's day shirt. He was more cooperative this year than last, but he still doesn't look took too happy. Speaking of happy, I got to spend some time on my Barbie ATV. Riding it sure makes for some good times.

Hi everyone,

It's been a long time since I last wrote you. Life has been difficult this year so far. My grandpa Woody passed away a couple of weeks ago. I am sad and try to keep myself busy by doing chores around the house. My favorite chore right now is doing dishes. I enjoy scrubbing the bowls and cups. Mommy likes the help...until I pour all the water onto the kitchen floor.

Hi everyone,

A couple of weeks ago mommy and daddy made me wear an uncomfortable dress and sit in a chair in front of the Christmas tree. They wanted to take my picture but somehow they forgot that I'm almost two and don't like to sit still. To make me settle down for a minute they gave me a "ball." It was neat and all but I wasn't fooled. It was just a dumb ole ornament off the tree. Do they think I was born yesterday?

Hi everyone,

I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving. Mine was nice. I ate a little turkey, had some mashed potatoes, and even tried some sweet potatoes. But to me all the food is overrated. The best part about Thanksgiving is playing outside. Then again, that's the best part of any day. I vote for a new holiday called Play Outise All Day. Anyone else in favor?

Hi everyone,

A few days ago my cousin Tommy came over. It was a blast. I made believe he was my big brother. I followed him around and asked him for "big hugs." The best part was when I climbed on the chair next to him to read a book. Through it all he was a good sport...but he drew the line when I started to rub his head. Maybe it's better I'm an only child.

Ask someone for a "big hug" this week. Just try not to rub their head.

Hi everyone,

Halloween was a disappointment this year. I couldn't completely enjoy myself because I had a fever and an earache. But I did my best to make mommy and daddy happy. I put on my costume and played like a good little fairy by prancing around the yard and walking over to a couple houses for candy. If you ask me Halloween is overrated. I like holidays that don't require an itchy costume.

Don't let anyone make you wear something itchy this week.

Hi everyone,

It's just not Halloween until you've picked out a pumpkin. Over the weekend mommy and daddy took me to a pumpkin patch. The purpose of the trip was to pick a pumpkin, but I was more interested in running around in the big, open area. We did manage to get some nice pumpkins...one for daddy, mommy, me, and Ollie. Daddy's pumpkin is already carved. It looks like the Jolly Roger. Mommy is supposed to carve the rest of our pumpkins before Halloween...but I'm not holding my breath.

Happy Tuesday #81

Hi everyone,

Tonight I went to the Funtastic Fall Festival here in Wentzville. It was sponsored by the Parents as Teachers and it was pretty fun. They had little pools filled with fall leaves, a bean bag toss, and a game where you could make your own scarecrow. My favorite activity was probably the Pumpkin Potato Head. I enjoyed giving the pumpkin a face by adding eyes, a nose and mouth, but the best part was getting to put stuff on my own face. I think I look even more intelligent with my new eye ware.
